The boy on the left is Rittigiat. He is usually absent from school because he earns extra money baby-sitting during the day. The other boy is Peerapong who basically behaves as if he has pins on his chair. Their parents collect trash (paper, plastics, glass, etc) to make ends meet. During the weekends, the children don't have time to study, read, etc. Most of them help their parents scour the bins around the city for saleable stuff.
