Hey Roman & Lisa Yep, love your photos from the frozen Multnomah Falls and what a surprise to see you guys up there! It's hard to recognize friends when all you can see are their eyes, LOL. I've still got to work with my images, they have a purple cast. I had an horrific incident with my 20D a few weeks ago that involved a sidewalk. Broke the lens but the camera seems ok. Wes isn't so sure but all else seems fine. Further testing are ongoing. Have a great Christmas....I've got to get back at it myself. Dotty of Wes & Dot

All pretty shots, Roman. The white framing though takes a measure of the mood away for me just a touch. It seems to run counter to the beautiful moods in the misty shots. Hardly an unforgivable element though and they all look great just the same. Just a thought really. Good eye.

You are truly a gifted artist. From your early work with the Coolpix 5700 to your present D2X, your gift of a great eye has been present. Great balance of color, symmetry, and scale. Of course I am a complete novice so what do I know...lol. BTW, I am in the market for my first DSLR since our son just got accepted to the US Naval Academy. I want to be able to take great shots the way I used to with my old Nikon FE. I have been between the D50, D70s and D200 all weekend. May I ask you for some advice?
