Technically, I am a professional photographer. However, I don't take photos for a living. I am an educator and teach photography. My path through life has taken me through many adventures. It's the journey, not the destination that matters, right?
My equipment is all digital. I was a Nikon guy for over 20 years, but recently sold most all my DSLR stuff and bought the Leica M9. I love the simplicity of the Leica, and it is the ultimate travel camera. For underwater, I still use my old Nikon D70 and a Nexus Housing with two Nikonos SB105 strobes. The camera is old, but still does the job.
Prior to my current job as a High School Teacher at the Jakarta International School, I was a helicopter pilot and SCUBA instructor. I have been in Indonesia for the past 15 years. If you are ever in Jakarta, drop me an email.....
