Although the pictures were taken during the early-1990's and the Soviet Union at that time didn't exist anymore, the origin of the aircraft and helicopters was the 16th Soviet Air Army in the (former) German Democratic Republic. The impossible happened between 1990 and 1994. Red stars were seen and photographed, the WarPac was gone.
