The Dutch transport capacity was rather limited a few decades ago. Twelve old Fokker 27 Troopships were the only aircraft available for cargo duties and they were based at Soesterberg, serving with 334 sqdn. Here, Troopship C-4 is seen landing at Gilze-Rijen. The aircraft was retired around 1995 and its fate is unknown.
