336sqdn was based far away 'in the West', at Hato, Curacao. On very rare occasions one of the two resident patrol Fokker 27MPA-200's found their way to the motherland. In June 1987, the M-1 was present for maintenance at Woensdrecht and it made a rare touch and go at nearby Gilze-Rijen
