Carnivorous Plants - Cool House

Singapore

Carnivorous plants in the new 'Cool House' at the Botanic Garden. This cool air-conditioned enclosure is meant to mimic the lush environment of a tropical rainforest
and fashioned like a greenhouse. This plant is Drosera capensis, common name 'sundew'. This is a tropical type of sundew native to Cape Province South Africa. Bright
pink flowers will form on many of the tall flower scapes.
