Best place for nighthawks, Chiang Mai

No flash! ISO 400...silky smooth with no noise reduction applied! Try this with your pocket digicam!

Night shots like this one are best underexposed about one stop then 'pushed' in Adobe Photoshop.

I returned to look at this image after getting the 24-70 myself. You're right, it's big and expensive but kinda grows on you... :-)
This picture still impresses me a lot!

The 24-70mm f/2.8L is heavy and expensive! However, I am convinced that it is the best zoom lens in the world. I also have the 28-135IS that I used to use with my old D30. It just sits on the shelf and I will probably sell it. Now that I have made the investment, I will just stick to L-lens.

Hi Robert,
I am very impressed by the clarity of this picture. Handheld I guess, doubly impressed! Do you find the 24-70L lens heavy to carry around? I'm asking because I would like to replace my old 28-125IS with this lens. Thx.
