Scientific name: Leptoptilos crumeniferus (Lesson, 1831).
The Marabou stork's diet consists primarly of dead animals including fish, insects, birds, frogs, and rodents. It's featherless head stays clean even while it tears apart the carcus of
a dead animal. The stork can kill animals as big as flamingos. An adult bird can reach 4 to 5 feet in height.
