Goose Spit Park, Comox

A log wall in the high tide area helps prevent the road from being
washed out during winter storms. It also helps to trap sand and
encourage vegetation to establish. Goose Spit is a popular spot for
kite-boarding in the fall and winter seasons when the winds pick up.
In the summer many people enjoy paddling and swimming on the beaches.

Excellent. Love the way you've lined the wooden posts up with the power line poles. The subject staring down the line is a great touch.

That must have been quite an undertaking to construct. Nicely photographed with the symmetry of the utility poles and distant mountains.

Great perspective of this fascinating log wall and telegraph poles against a backdrop of scenic landscape...the standing guy provides a nice scale to this well captured setting...V

This is so good with all the repeating elements in this scene,
and the standing figure near right is a surprising final touch.

Interesting how the man provides yet another vertical line in the frame.

that's a stout bulwark, not only protecting the beach but providing a vantage point for yon explorer....Comox seems an interesting option during the next visit to Denman Island..

Interesting capture, and sounds like a good use for all those logs. V.
