Known as the 'King of Mountains' in Sichuan, Gongga Mountain at 7556m towers on the east of Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau.
Inside the range of Gongga embraces the Hailuogou glacier, which boasts three characters:
the lowest altitude glacier; a glacier with high activity, and with the most integrity of glaciered landform.
The top of Hailuogou can offer incredible vistas of Gongga Mountain and surrounding peaks,
all above 6000m, but certainly the chance to see it is entirely up to Mother Nature.
Thank you for sharing, I just come back from China, I was in Shangri-la-Yunnan, but not yet in Sichuan, but will go there soon, I am posting my photos in my galleries
