Perfect exposure & composition & therein lies my dilemma,Gary. For a bird of prey, I'd be looking for anything to make it look as ferocious as I could. In this pose, it's almost like looking at a friendly parrot. I'd be looking to contrast exaggeration & such.The background too is a tad too friendly. I'd be looking to darken & dramatise by altering the background tone to a more sombre & therefore fitting expression. I know I'm being tough, but I reckon the shot deserves a good creative nudge because I think it has the elements to deliver a Pow! effect.
