I awarded the image as I appreciate the skill involved in photographing fireworks, especially with well controlled highlights to preserve detail within the flairs.
Lifting the shadows slightly in post-processing would recover more detail in the darker foreground areas and give the image a stronger sense of depth and grounding.
A slight crop from the bottom would remove some of the water’s negative space, which does not add much to the story, and would strengthen
the overall composition. The placement of the main fireworks is handled well and contributes to a balanced composition.
