The photographer has captured observed animal behaviour in this nature shot with a potential story of nest building. Even though the light is not great, there is a lot of detail visible on the bird and
strong contrast across the plumage makes the image lively. Unfortunately the image is very busy with several foreground branches obscuring our view and a contrasty background that draws
attention away from the subject. I also think the crop is very tight, I would like to have seen the whole of the tail and a bit more space in front of the beak.
