An image built in a series of horizontal strips or layers from the water to the green foreshore to the spiky grass then the eroded soil and
finally the scrubby bushland at the top with the downhill slope that channels the water to the scene. The genre of the image is more of a
documentary or reportage style and suitably conveys the impact of erosion. I think the image would be more balanced is the bushland
at the top were reduced by about half and driving a bit more contrast into the red sections might make them a little more interesting.
