Dartmoor Ponies and Tor

Sunday 6th February 2005 - Day 50

It was meant to be a bright, sunny but frosty morning this morning... as you can see there was cloud involved as well!

Mind you, it was cold.... not in a cold snowy type of cold, but in a piercing wind type of cold. My cheeks have just about recovered.

I wanted to find one of the archetypal Dartmoor scenes for todays PaD... and a group of Dartmoor ponies suits that just fine.

The sky is not imported. Digital blending in PS to avoid washed out sky syndrome.

I love horses and pony's, therefore this image truly appeals to me. Very nice landscape too in the background. Great shot.

Nice scene in spite of the cold. Those are interesting ponies, such short legs.
