I found the White-faced Meadowhawk near a vernal pool along the grass path leading to the wetlands of State Gamelands #249, Fish and Game Road in Adams County on October 12, 2008. Two days later, I found another of this species at another location in this gamelands. Both were males.
This was the first recorded sighting of this species in Adams County, PA. Documents filed and approved by The Nature Conservancy via photos.
On September 21, 2009, I found a White-faced Meadowhawk at the same place as the Oct. 14, 2008 sighting.
