On June 12, 2007, I found a pair of C. obliqua along an almost non-existant stream just off the Lakeside trail near Boat Mooring #3. This was a very heavily shaded area. The male was patroling along the stream bed just inches from the ground. I observed the female ovipositing in shallow water or mud nearby. The male attempted a copulating wheel several times after the female oviposited, but without success. Documents and photos have been filed with The Nature Conservancy and have been approved.
