I wonder how you get so close to the subjects? I also like the still life shots of the bat making contact with the "t"

Oh Rob, these are wonderful!!! My son is starting T-Ball in a week and I'll be shooting some photos. I hope I can walk away with shots as good as yours!

Ann, I told you before, you do a wonderful job with this (I know, I'm a newspaper editor). You should have a book made from these photos. Apple offers that to Mac users (I'm one) in which you can design your own hardbound photo book, so I'm sure other online photo services offer it too.

Hi Rob! I was checking my list of favorite artists and found this gallery. I love it. You have some great images in here. My youngest is playing his first season of tball this spring... lots of fun to shoot, isn't it?

I left a lot of the flocking, dirt kicking and dugout pics in the other game galleries. I haven't found the right ones of that to put here yet and really are the essence of T Ball. These guys are 4-6 and are serious for a good part, with a bit of parental assistance (I'm guilty here). They seem to take us in stride as part of the game :)

You have a photo or two like this, but T-ball here is usually six outfielders running after the same hit and fighting to get the ball. And kids daydreaming in the "dug out." These kids seem very serious and pretty good too. What age? Looks like 5-6.
