Vietnam

My friends name was Tomahawk and I don't remember is real name. Lots of us had nicknames, mine was Lumpy. Tomahawk and I first met when I was with Charlie Company out in the jungle. I carries the battalion radio for the company. Tomahawk was station in firebase Ky Tra and we spoke alot over the radio. Since he was from Califoria, like myself, we spent a lot of time on the radio in the middle of the night. We both got rear jobs in Chu Lai and we hung out there quite a bit.

Tomahawk came to visit me once after we got home. We then drifted apart and I haven't hear from or seen him since 1971.

This was taken in the orphanages classroom.
