The Upper Unit is about 480 acres of which 90% is primary Cloud Forest. Entrance is at 2200 m. Facilities would eventually include Visitor Center with bird-feeding station, 10 fully-equipped cabins each with a hummingbird feeder, and a limited set of interpretive nature trails designed for viewing into the upper canopy levels.
