The California coastline is spotted with missions that were founded throughout the 1700 & 1800's. I've been priviledged to get a chance to start a "Mission Mission" ~ to visit these incredible historic sites. On my first real exploration, we started at San Carlos Borromeo de Carmelo, & were able to visit 7 more along the way. All in a five day trip! And what a trip is was!! I've taken over 1000 pictures & so the deliverance of my view of these missions will take some time, but be assured, they will be posted.

One note; I had only had the Minolta Z6 for 2 days before this trip. Unfortunately, I'm still learning, and so many of my indoor shots did not come out. I will do the best I can to post the best I shot. Of course, you can get a glimpse here & then go for your own Mission Mission to get a taste of the real thing! Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
