San Carlos Borromeo de Carmelo

This is the Mission in Carmel, close to the bay. It was founded June 3rd, 1770.
It was a beautiful mission, with the original sanctuary still very much intact.
The grounds were just stunning, with so much to view, it was really an impressive
way to begin my journey into the 'World of Missions'. Presented here is just a
small view of what is really there to see & experience ... sigh ...
