In January 2019, Steve moved to the Grand Canyon to start his new job and drove there in four days from New York. Norah and I decided to take a more leisurely pace when we moved in the summer after school was finished. We figured it was a good opportunity to see some new parts of the country and visit friends and family along the way. Having five weeks to sight see and spend time with loved ones was the perfect way to enjoy ourselves after the long process of sorting, organizing, packing and selling a house. It was a terrific trip!
Our itinerary was roughly broken into four sections: a week sightseeing in the cities (and a stop at Cedar Point), a week across the midwest seeing friends and family, two weeks at my parents house in Nebraska, and a week in Colorado. I've separated the galleries into the various stops on our trip.
