Navajo Falls was a welcome sight on our first day backpacking in Havasu canyon. It was the first waterfall we came to and it was irresistable in the heat. It's eight miles from the rim to Supai village (where we stopped to register) and another two miles to the campground/Havasu Falls. Navajo Falls is about 15 minutes or so before the campground/Havasu Falls.
Travertine gives the water and falls their pretty blue color.
