Bryce Canyon

We rose early to catch sunrise from Bryce Point and weren't disappointed. The funky hoodoos were bathed in an orange glow from the early morning light. Gorgeous!

We got an up close look at the hoodoos by making a figure eight loop of the Navajo, Peekaboo, and Queen's Garden trails. We started at Sunset Point, descended the Navajo trail (The Wall Street portion of the Navajo trail suffered a rock collapse the prior day and was closed), hiked Peekaboo, then ascended to Sunrise Point on the Queen's Garden trail. The hike was around six miles and because of our early start we had the Navajo and Peekaboo trails to ourselves (very nice).

We also made the drive along the main drag to see the viewpoints and walk the short Bristlecone Loop at Rainbow Point.
