This is the east side of Battle Lake about 30 miles east of my City of Wetaskiwin, only 8 miles from Pigeon Lake. This lake brings back my memories of when in my early years went fishing. Northern pike to 30 lbs, walleye to 8 lbs, perch to 1 pound and giant whitefish up to 10 pounds... In the fall it was known for the best area for ruffled grouse... Lots of deer and moose in the area... A hunter and fisherman's dream. Quite often I go for a drive out there and take photos.
