Wide field night sky images

Traditionally, CCD cameras had small chips and limited field of view. However, an amateur equipped with an SLR (single-lens reflex) or DSLR (digital SLR) and wide field lens between 8 and 100mm can capture interesting images of wide parts of the sky, including entire constellations and our galaxy - the Milky Way.
