This not very close Moon and Jupiter conjunction was visible on 10th January 2011. In the evening I have decided to quickly grab my Canon DSLR and tripod and shot some images over various landmarks in Warsaw.

First I have spend few moments near St Mary Heart Church (Parafia p.w. Najczystszego Serca Maryi) in Grochow district and later moved to the Old Town.

In the Old Town, I have managed to snap just a few shots of the conjunction and a couple of minutes later, a sudden patch of dense fog appeared from nowhere, making the conjunction invisible but giving the Old Town a new, ghostly dimension.
