This time, the weather prospects were really bad. Thick layer of clouds, with possible fog and rain. Despite the odds, a Warsaw team located in Łomianki has bravely set their equipment @ 3:30 (local time, 2:30 UT) under the overcast sky. @ 3:50, just a quarter from the totality, some holes in the cloud cover emerged, showing the reddish Moon with thin white sliver. Luck at least!!! We were able to continue looking at and photographing the Moon for the next 20 minutes, almost to the maximum phase, when the holes closed. Finally, we set up few minutes after 5 AM. Go home, take a shower and back to work ...
