Stone Arch and Waterfall

This is one entrance to a nearby nature preserve called Corbett's Glen.

I had to take my car in for repair today (darn water pump!) and so I combined that trip with a visit here since I had never been to this place before. I walked around for about an hour just soaking in the small waterfalls that line this preserve. There were plenty of birds singing everywhere as well. I've wanted to visit here for some time and I will be back again to take more images.

You know what is better than places like this? Being in places like this for the first time. It looks like a great park.

What an interesting arch. Is there a roadway above? It looks like a walkway running thru (is that the entrance you mentioned?) and some sort of pipe. I don't imagine it's water as in your area it would freeze in the winter. I see them in the South and every twenty years or so they will get a broken pipe in a very cold year. It really looks old, any idea how old?

Great picture, reflections, and depth of the tunnel. Love it!

Looks to be a beautiful spot Patti. Nicely captured; (and I am guessing we will see more in the coming months.)
Like the irony too about the water and pump - sorry, couldn't resist :)
