Mural, created in 2025 by Lonneke van Zutphen, artist name Lonneke Schildert. Lonneke does not use spray cans, but exclusively brushes, rollers, and wall paint.
The central theme of the mural is 'Water'. This neighborhood was formerly a marshland. The mural depicts a dynamic underwater landscape featuring a large, leaping pike (above), a swimming fish (left), and blooming pink and white water lilies.
They refer directly to the original inhabitants and the nature of this former marsh. Additionally, the work serves to brighten up the neighborhood, both literally and figuratively, and bring a smile to residents' faces every day.
