We spent 2 weeks in Turkey visiting numerous historic sites along with viewing the Total Solar Eclipse in Side. Turkey is an amazing location that contains a large number of Greco-Roman sites, some of which are still being discovered. We logged 2000 miles traveling mostly in a bus through the western half of Turkey. If I had time I would return there to see more.

This is the first eclipse trip after my cancer. I did not travel so as to heal and pay off my medical bills, my insurance did pay a large part of the expenses, however. So far I have not missed any TSE's since then, including being one of the few that went to the 2020 solar eclipse during the pandemic.
