Yes, you read that correct, these 3 images were taken with my cell phone at full zoom (30x), hand held no less! When the eclipse was in totality it was much too dark to register at full zoom. The first image appears to be at mid-eclipse, but it appears orange because it was just a couple degrees above the horizon and is still suffering from low angle light bending/refraction.
The following images were taken at (24 hour local time);
20:40:10 (08:40) - 12 minutes after the start of the penumbral eclipse (P1)
21:10:42 (09:10) - 17 minutes before umbral eclipse begins (U1)
21:49:51 (09:49) - 21 minutes after umbral eclipse begins (U1) and 1 hour before totality begins (U2)
