Because trees surround my house I went outside of town to capture the eclipse. This shot was taken from my favorite viewing site where an old fashioned (not really so old though) wind/water pump exists. The upper half of the constellation of Scorpius can be seen to the left of image center as it is rising toward the eclipsed moon.

This shot was edited in Photoshop to stretch the stars to see more of these, while the exposure of the Moon was not changed. This was all done with only this image, there were no other photos involved.

This camera was set up only on a stationary tripod.
