Calaveras Big Trees

Calaveras became a State Park in 1931 to preserve the North Grove of giant sequoias.
This grove includes the "Discovery Tree", also known as the "Big Stump" and many others worth viewing trees.
The Park has several well maintained trails. If you like to walk among the Sequoia trees, that's the place to go!
