Zhuhai 珠海

Due to its proximity to Macau, it was chosen as one of the first special economic zones. Since 1980, it has grown from a village to a metropolis of 1.5 millions.
We visited the New Yuan Ming Palace (圓明新園) which was modeled after the original one in Beijing destroyed by the French-British troops in 1860.
