Map showing the path taken by Halifax NA 337 on the night of April 23, 1945 as it delivered supplies to the Norwegian underground. The plane was shot down by a German anti-aircraft installation. The plane ditched into Lake Mjosa. Although all of the crew got out of the plane, only the tail gunner, Flt Sgt Thomas Weightman, managed to survive.
