Tawny Frogmouth

Purnululu NP - WA

I normally only see these at night. Their camouflage
is too good for me during the day. But at night their
call and eye shine make it a lot easier to find them.
An yes, someone did show me where this one was sitting!
Apparently they will roost in the same spot day after day.
