watersnake removes itself from gene pool!

If you are queasy around snakes... even dead ones, don't look!. These are NOT pretty pictures, but they do tell a story.

The pump for the Koi pond had started running slow even though it had been replaced and cleaned recently. I started investigating and found this... He was not the problem. I had added a length of hose to the system and somehow the extra coil of hose had become kinked. There was a brown water snake living in the pond several years ago... I wonder.
