A mated pair of Peregrines nested at the bridge and produced one chick. They used a scaffold on a pier of the bridge for their scrape site. The chick disappeared on June 14 and was presumed drowned. The unbanded female parent had appeared on the scene March 24-26, replacing a banded female who apparently had been the male’s mate for over two years.
