April 6

On April 4, one egg was observed by bridge workers in scrape on scaffold. On April 5, two eggs were observed and photographed. Today, it appears that the female has not yet begun brooding. May still have more eggs to lay. Copulation continuing. The two cranes on which they perch are on barges and frequently moved. Today they were both quite far from the shore and so these photos were taken from a great distance.
