William Munkers Stanton was the eighth of nine children & the second son born to, Bluford Stanton & his wife, Matilda [Munkers] Stanton, on 25 October 1846 in Platte City, Platte County, Missouri. In Agency, Buchanan County, Missouri he married, Cynthia Belle Hall. Together this couple would share six known children. This picture was donated for our use here by, Kay Linda [STANTON] Burnos and Karen Sue [STANTON] Stadler. They are the current owners of this original photograph.
