George Benton Pollard was the youngest of three children born to, Richard Henry Pollard and his wife, Matilda Ann [MILLER] Pollard, on 26 February 1856 in Linn County, Oregon. He married Rachel Maybelle Kinder on 07 December 1875 in, Wasco County, Oregon, and together this couple would share one child. George Benton Pollard was a great grandson of John Stanton and his wife, Margaret Nancy [PEVELY] Stanton.
