I did not have a room because I was not expected to happen, that is why they built my room from the garage. Mom only had 1 ovary after the atomic pregnancy she had before me. I wasn't planned, I happened. That is what mom told me anyway. I have still not been able to locate Cathryn, anywhere. I am ready to start spending money on certificates. It makes me mad/ upset that I cannot find a marker, her name in a book of people buried etc., she was named Sandra Louise Knapp, I REALLY need to see a marker that says she was buried as Cathryn Frances. I know they changed the name, half moms, half grandmas, mom wrote "It was an awfully big name for such a little girl." Anyway... mom told me she was buried in the Sac. City Cemetery, she's not there or in their books. I have "certificates of birth" not actual birth certificates, on all of us, 4 children in all, not counting the etopic pregnancy which would have made 5, Daddy wanted a half dozen kids, I am just glad I was the last, if mom had been pregnant when dad got sick, who knows what would have happened to her, to us. I was home when they called mom about daddy being close to death in the hospital, it really was a fluke or miracle that he survived past that. Mom was on the phone, crying, sobbing actually, I had just turned 2, I started crying also because mom was. My earliest memory, that I have remembered since I was that old, not one that came to me with age like a lot of them (memories) I remember it vividly, the phone ringing,mom crying, me crying and her hugging me very, very tightly. From then on I had nightmares about it. I always ended up on that itchy brown couch, itchy on my face, and would wake up there in the morning, always shivering, without my Kiki? (that was the name of my sofffttttt blankie with the smooth shiny trim, not satin but felt like it) never having made it into our parents bedroom because of a bad dream/nightmare again, the couch was half way and that is where I stopped, couldn't go in their bedroom after that, ever... Geeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, I don't think about it, if I don't have to. I had the nightmares into my 30's before they stopped for good, at that time I had left Robert (Kiernans father) and was NOT going to ever let anyone physically or mentally or emotionally abuse me again and then they stopped, I guess I just wasn't afraid anymore and had finally stood up for myself, But I remember having that dream when I was pregnant and soon after I gave birth to him. Have got to go now, its early, I am hungry. I wake up between 1:30 and 3:30 every morning, I mean EVERY morning,( A.M.) Drives me nuts, maybe eventually I will sleep normally, who knows... mom was pregnant and the baby was growing in her falopian tube, they took that out with the fetus and her ovary on that side, which gave her less than a 50 percent chance of having anymore. Then low and behold I happened and daddy put up a picture of a blond haired, blue eyed baby girl in the kitchen so mom would see it everyday. I was the 1st (surviving) girl born to the Knapp side in 8 generations, or so grampa Knapp told me all the time, every time I saw him anyway, if nothing had ever gone wrong, we would be a family of 7, including mom and dad. When I was 4 months old moms thyroid went beserk, she had to take me off the tit because of the drug they put her on. I believe mom was 31, when I turned 31 my thyroid also went beserk, they put me on "synthroid" for it, I never got pregnant again, neither did mom. We both had trouble with and could not take the generic form of synthroid, I still can't. Lv Sandy *) --------

Hark lived with the Collins and my dad [ my dad was also living with the Collins "Sr." family] for a short while and parted ways and never saw each other again but our families [ and extended families ] have formed a life long bond. [d] 07-15-1810 in Paris Township, Oneida Co., NY Debbie Wilkins [now] in Utah is a direct descendent if Margarette Randall Allen Clark Mason and her second marriage to John Clark on 08-17-1813 Parris Township, Oneida county NY I am a [now] a direct descendent to her third marriage to James Mason. I am the daughter of Winford Threewood Failner. He is the first son of Rose Florence Thompson. She is the half sister of your grandmother Delila. My father died in January 2006. I am sure he would have loved to have heard about you. He told me on many occasions that Aunt Delila was his favorite Aunt. Also that she named her son Winford as a name sake to my father. So we really have much in common. I have for some months now had the desire to contact someone from your family. But did not know just how to do that. Is Winford your father still living? I grew up with the Barlow kids and King and Mabel. We have searched for them. Please hook us up! They knew me as Sandy Christian. Cookie Barlow (Virginia) was my pal. My folks (Fred and Dorothy Christian) and grandma (Virginia Gillespie) were very close to King and Mabel til they lost touch when the Barlows went away to Sarasota, Florida.
