“ I was born in Brooklyn New York in 1929. Lived with adopted grandparents in Hamburg Germany
for a year or so in the year 1937/38. Moved to California in 1939. Attended elementary public schools
in Los Angeles and went to High School in Chino, Ca. where I met your father. Joined the Navy in 1946
and stayed in for 26 years. I was an enlisted man for 14 years and then became an officer and retired in 1972
with the rank of LCDR. in the Civil Engineer Corps of the U.S.N. I attended Jr. College in Oxnard, Ca. and
attended various schools in the Navy, including their Engineering school at Port Hueneme, CA. Became the
Director of the CEC/Seabee Museum at Port Hueneme in 1972 and retired from it in 1994. My mothers name
was Anna Christina Jungjohann (Yungjohann in English). We do not know who her father was. I have one
brother and one Sister. I have been back to Germany 3 times in the past 10 years staying with a first cousin on
the island of Fohr, which is near Denmark in the North Sea, and also doing family research while there.
My line on my fathers side goes back to 1510, with my mothers side back to the late 1700's” .
