When Allied ran out of business for the last time in late 1981, the equipment was quickly sold off for cheap and hauled away. The old factory in Catskill, NY has been torn down and replaced by town houses, but, until recently, the location of the equipment has remained a bit of a mystery. Apparently, the molds were taken to a farm in upstate NY about 30 miles Northwest of Albany. The farm is now for sale, and I do not know who owns the molds. If anyone has any information, please let me know. The following are some photos taken from the highway outside the farm. A sad sight indeed.
