The Externalization of the Internal
(inside out and outside in)

When a person begins by developing the "internal" first and then transfers it to the "external", the environment of both the internal and the external benefit from that process. However, when a person ignores the internal and looks only to the external for answers, then the environment of both the internal and the external usually suffer from a lack of process (lack of progress).

The Celebrity-Based Modern Family

The Father of the celebrity-based modern family is the Church. The Mother of the celebrity-based modern family is the State. And the names of the children of the celebrity-based modern family are Avoidance, Denial, Blame and Externalization.

Religion is the "Father" - According to modern Christianity, the savior is not Christ consciousness (per the original/true teaching of Christ), but is an external deity/savior/figurehead (celebrity). Christ died for our sins and the Church absolves our sins. Where is the learning, personal growth and personal responsibility in this process?
Government is the "Mother" - Presidents, politicians, kings and queens (celebrities) nurture us, keep us safe and save us. Political hope springs eternal apathy. Responsible action springs meaningful change.
The "legal system" is the "Punisher" - Judges (celebrities) decide what is right and what is wrong. What about personal integrity, personal morality and personal responsibility?
The media/entertainment industry is the "Deceiver" - Programmed celebrities/representatives (role models) program and dumb-down the general population.
The banking industry is the "Magician" - Celebrities of finance steal from the people while encouraging others to follow a path of material greed rather than a path of personal/spiritual growth (towards true freedom).
Technology is the "Distracter" - Celebrities are the modern "gods" that are born via the technology of propaganda and distraction. Since celebrities are worshiped in society, everybody wants to be a celebrity. The emergence of the internet and social media has made celebrity status a reality for a few and a constant distraction for the many. Egos are regularly inflated and deflated in virtual reality which can have the same type of negative effect as when a child star suddenly falls from stardom.
Consciousness is the "Liberator" - Love, truth, awareness and understanding (knowledge/compassion/wisdom) are the keys. Experience is the teacher. Talking (expression) is the first step. Walking (the path) is the way home.

Questions and Answers

1) Question: What would a world look like where everything was externalized?

Answer: It would look very much like the world that we live in today.

2) Question: What would a heaven look like that is full of souls that are in denial?

Answer: It would be similar to the world that we live in today.

3) Question: What would a hell look like that is full of souls lacking personal/universal responsibility?

Answer: It would be similar to the world that we live in today.

4) Question: What if "heaven" was full of "children" that knew nothing of true freedom, integrity, morality or personal/universal responsibility? What if they knew only of fear and punishment?

Answer: That heaven would likely transform into a hell pretty quickly.

5) Question: What would be the first thing that Jesus would say if he returned to Earth today?

Answer: He would probably marvel at how corrupted his teachings have become...

Jesus arrived here as a "being of God" (a student/teacher of Creation). The Church transformed (corrupted) him into a "god being" (a deity/idol requiring worship).
Jesus came to teach us how to know God. The Church represented Jesus to be the "gatekeeper" of God.
Jesus taught us how Christ consciousness can save us from suffering. The Church teaches us that Christ is the only Savior from punishment.
Jesus taught us of how to find true freedom through the realization of the "Kingdom of God" (heaven) within us. The Church teaches us of a external kingdom ruled by a King/Lord/Master (the Church and the State).
Jesus taught us that those who become like children will be those that enter heaven (sincere internal humbleness). The Church teaches us to deny individual empowerment and become dependent on an external savior (false external humbleness).

6) Question: What is the difference between an Empire and a Kingdom?

Answer: There is no difference. Concepts such as Lord/Master/King/Kingdom help to acclimate us towards accepting the idea of trading the current Empire for a new Kingdom (a different type of Empire).

7) Question: Was Jesus a real person?

Answer: There have been countless debates on this topic. I will answer the question this way. The Bible is many layers deep. Usually the majority of what is taught in modern Churches is based mostly on the top layer (literal meaning) of the Bible. However, beneath this layer there are many additional layers that metaphorically reference ancient history, astrology, alchemy and universal code.

For those with eyes to see and ears to hear, these additional layers in the Bible offer the opportunity to unlock and understand many hidden secrets of Creation (this is also true of other ancient/religious texts as well). I do believe that Jesus was a real person (although much can be debated about how he was represented). The bottom line is that Jesus (the spirit of God) is within all of us. This was the underlying message in all of Jesus' teachings. The "second coming of Christ" is about us (re)discovering the light (spirit) within us.

Our History is Now

Each day we have the opportunity to create a heaven or hell in our personal lives.
Each day we have the opportunity to help co-create a heaven or hell for others around us.
Each day we have the opportunity to move towards a "heaven on Earth" or a "hell on Earth".
Every day that we avoid/externalize our present heaven/hell, is another day that we will spend in our future heaven/hell.
When we finally discover the heaven within us, then we can begin to build a true heaven around us. As above, so below and as within, so about.

What is Heaven/Hell?

Heaven/hell is an "unseen" realm, a physical place of residence and a state of being

- Two -

Heaven/hell is a choice of polarity

- One -

Heaven/hell is who we as individuals choose to be in the unity of Creation

Footnote

Regarding responsibility, I make a distinction between personal/global responsibility vs. corrupted "responsibility". The first form of responsibility encourages freedom, personal growth and global harmony while the second type of responsibility primarily benefits the system and the greed of corrupt rulers.

In this series I have spoken the most of Christianity because I grew up in Christianity. However, many of the same examples and parallels can also be seen in many other religions as well. The intent here is not to endorse religion as a path to salvation. Rather, it is to try and help illustrate the idea that there is often beneficial information (awareness and understanding) that is hidden far below the literal, traditional and dogmatic translations of those teachings.
