Thank you for your comments! I'm sorry you got so worried: Actually she's a woman performing as a statue for some bucks. She's disguised in some kind of medieval look (this street is just behind the Cathedral). Although she's not a beggar, sure she would wish to have a better job. endika

My first thought: is that a real person or a very lifelike sculpture? Her face, its expression and the way it is framed by the head covering are all reminscent of a madonna-like figure. The people turning the other way are in a completely different universe. Wow.

The work you did on this shot is superb Endika. It enhances the worlds of the haves and have nots. I wan't to go to this lady and ask what I can do to help her. Some new clothes, some shoes for her feet, some food for her basket. This really pulls at the heart strings.
