Approach to Camp 1

Dave and I arrived with much delay in Santiago. But Alberto picked us up right away and drove us into Maipo Canyon. We started hiking after 6pm and met Sepp and Guenther an hour later. Then we hiked together until after 10pm in the moonlight to Camp at 11,800ft at Las Lajas. Dave und ich kamen mit großer Verspätung in Santiago an. Aber Alberto holte uns ab und brachte sofort uns in den Maipo Canyon. Wir begannen die Wanderung nach 18:00 Uhr und eine Stunde später trafen Sepp und Günther. Dann stiegen wir gemeinsam bis nach 10:00 Uhr Abend im Mondlicht zum "Las Lajas" Camp auf 3600m auf.
